I always looked at this scene thinking there was more to their exchange and choice of words.

Loki says he loves Thor more than any of them and directing those words only to her. Implying that Sif loves Thor more than him.

Perhaps they were on the brink of turning their ‘friendship’ into something more (hinted in the deleted scene of Sif having one of Loki’s dagger), but his jealousy and schemes pushed her towards Thor.

It’s essay writing season for tons of students!

After being a college writing tutor for over a year, I thought I would share my advice with all you awesome people on tumblr. This is how I write essays, but if you’ve got more tips, feel free to add them below.

Happy writing. You can do it!

Bonus— if you start early-ish, you can:

-Go through your source material and write either quotes or paraphrased info on notecards (one quote or fact/piece-of-info per card).

-Write the author and page number of the source material on the reverse side of each card (as you would cite it while writing the actual essay).

-Take a break.

-Put your note cards into generally-related piles (discard repeated material if need be).

-Put all your note cards in order the way you want the info you collected to appear in your essay.

-While writing the essay, after using the info/quote on the top side of each card simply flip it over for the corresponding in-text citation.

-The essay will practically write itself.

Sounds time consuming, but I used this method often in high school and college and it always wound up saving me hours of unecessary work and stress.
